If your husband came out the military on disability, why was he gonna get unemployment instead of his VA benefits for being disable. He would get a whole lot more money from his VA benefits than unemployment. OK with that being said, if he was to receive VA benefits, You and your kids can receive benefits. That should have nothing to do with what is going on with him. Check with the VA about the benefits. Let them know what is going on. They should be able to direct you in the right direction.
